Book Month Treats in Store

A scratch ‘n’ sniff cover
is just one of the delights awaiting readers who visit the pages of web-based retailer New Zealand Books Abroad during New Zealand Book Month celebrations in September.

The adventurous cover belongs to the long awaited book by award winning photographer Skip Wastemaster. Made from recycled pizza boxes, the book also includes a CD soundscape of seagull cries.

Skip was awarded Envirotographer of the Year in 2007 and his new book The Natural Magic of New Zealand’s Landfills is a celebration of this country’s most picturesque and often overlooked refuse stations. Packed with Skip’s characteristic brooding and iconic images, the diversity of our rubbish dumps are illustrated for all to enjoy.

The Natural Magic of New Zealand’s Landfills by Skip Wastemaster is only available from web-based retailer New Zealand Books Abroad as part of a special promotion for New Zealand Book Month.

Visitors to http://www.nzbooksabroad.com/ during September are invited to enter a competition to win more than $1,300 worth of real New Zealand books by spotting four others like this one.
