Professional Historians' Association of New Zealand-Aotearoa and the National Library

The PHANZA Committee has been trying to find out details of access to collections of the National Library and Alexander Turnbull Library during the redevelopment of the building.

They received no response to their letter to the National Librarian late last year so followed this up with a letter to the Minister for National Library. In his response the Minister assured them that the National Library would like to meet to discuss their concerns.

They also sent out a media release last week which was picked up on scoop.
You can read it here for a summary of the situation.
