Allyson Gofton’s final “Bake-Off” in association with Plunket was held last night at Birkenhead Primary School on Auckland’s North Shore.

With over 200 people in attendance, the hall was full to capacity and a lovely evening was had by all.

Allyson (pic right) entertained with her tales of growing up in Tasmania, working with esteemed colleagues Tui Flower, Robyn Martin and Graham Kerr and of course talked about her latest cookbook BAKE.
The audience had a field day questioning Allyson about all things baking such as what flours and sugars to use when, and how to make the perfect pavlova.



Media personality and Big FM host Suzy Cato was MC for the evening. Pic left, author and MC in happy mood. About to eat some of that delicious baking I suspect.
