PRESS RELEASE FROM PINDAR NEW ZEALAND

Pindar New Zealand is going through a number of changes preparing for a significantly expanded role in Pindar UK's ever-increasing involvement in content management and publishing services. Special attention is being paid to the division's expertise and technology serving the rapidly-expanding eBook and XML requirements of book publishers

Due to ill health the Managing Director for the last 18 years, Gerard Reid, is stepping down from active management of the business. He will be staying on as a Director and consultant in the meantime.

His position is being taken over by Mary Egan, who exactly 22 years ago founded Egan Reid Ltd which Pindar bought and re-named in 2007. For some years now Mary has been the company's Operations Director.

Increased resources are being put into the company's sales and marketing activities in the UK, US and Australia. This is reflected in the return to Pindar of three former Pindar UK colleagues, Paul O'Sullivan and Andrew Dorward working in the UK and US and Jeremy Emms in Australia. Paul and Andrew will be joined by Les Morton and Jill Tinsley who will provide direct customer contact services in the UK.

Pindar has been making great strides in its development of content management software and publications conversion technology offering publishers more versatile and powerful routes to market. The recent personnel changes will allow us to offer more comprehensive communications with the publishing industry.
