International Prize for Arabic Fiction 2010

The shortlist for this year’s prize was announced today, Tuesday 15 December, by Taleb Alrefai, Chair of Judges for the 2010 prize, at a press conference at the Beirut International Book Fair in Lebanon.

The shortlist comprises; MUHAMMAD AL-MANSI QINDEEL, (Egyptian); MANSOURA EZ ELDIN, (Egyptian); RABEE JABIR, (Lebanese); ABDO KHAL, (Saudi Arabian); RABA’I MADHOUN, (Palestinian) and JAMAL NAJI, (Jordanian).

IPAF is a prestigious literary award celebrating the very best of contemporary Arabic fiction.
