John Blake is publishing a book by true crime author Gary King that will tell "the whole story of the twisted murder case" behind the death of British student Meredith Kercher.

The Murder of Meredith is due out in January as a paperback priced £7.99. It will cover the whole case, which concluded late last week, finding 22-year-old Amanda Knox and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito guilty of conspiracy to murder and sentenced to 26 and 25 years respectively. Another man, Rudy Guede, had been sentenced to 30 years in prison a year earlier, as part of a "fast track" deal.

The publisher said: "With allegations of inaccurate forensic evidence, police brutality, blackmail and even devil-worship, the trial was destined to be a long and complex affair.

"Now, with the verdict finally announced, top true-crime author Gary C King presents the whole story of the twisted murder case that has made headlines around the world."

King is a freelance author and lecturer, who has published more than 400 articles in true crime magazines in the US, Canada, and England. He has also written a number of books
