Flash fiction competition launched

A global flash fiction competition has been launched. Flash, or short, fiction is one of the biggest movements in short story writing and Certys Limited, which already runs the Global Short Story Competition, has now launched a flash fiction one as well.
The Darlington-based company is looking for stories no more than 200 words long. The judge will be crime writer John Dean and entry is £5 for up to three stories. The deadline is the end of March and the first prize is £25.
More information is available from www.storyworld.ning com or by emailing John Dean at john.dean@certys.co.uk
