This brilliant new book celebrates almost 50 years of history of the garden at Landsendt in Oratia, Auckland.  It portrays in words and stunning photography the many aspects of developing 20 acres of bare land into a subtropical garden.  For more than just a description of the garden, the story describes Dick and Annemarie’s intrepid expeditions, as they travelled to the mountains of South America collecting plants.  A great read!

Landsendt has recently been designated a Garden of National Significance by the New Zealand Gardens Trust.
