US Poet Melissa Shook edits Tuesday Poem

The Tuesday Poem this week is selected by American photographer, filmmaker and poet Melissa Shook who hails from Boston.
One of the founding members of Tuesday Poem, which started life in Wellington in April this year, this is Melissa's first stint as editor. She takes to it with gusto, posting two poems rather than one by US poet Bert Stern. Bert is Milligan Professor Emeritus at Wabash College and chief editor, retired, at Hilton Publishing. He and his wife, the poet Tam Lin Neville, co-edit a small press that publishes book by poets over sixty. He has also published a critical study,Wallace Stevens: Art of Uncertainty. As Melissa Shook says,
'Aside from all this and much more, he's a good conversationalist.' After you've read Stern and Shook... check out the other 30 poets from NZ, the US and further afield on the Live Blog Roll on Tuesday Poem.
