Jo Seagar alive and well

Random House would like to dispel the rumour that is currently circulating that Jo Seagar was in Christchurch’s CTV building when it collapsed.

Jo says she and all her loved ones are all fine and well. They’re pretty shocked and there’s been lots of tears but now they’re working hard to help out. Jo and the team have been feeding heaps of folk – taking  loads of fudge to staff at the hospital to cheer them up; lots of people leaving Christchurch and staying locally in b&bs; overseas tourists passing through – folk with no clothes, passports etc.
Lots of very sad stories but amazing community support and good feeling. Ross Seagar is volunteer fireman with Oxford Fire Brigade and he’s been in Chch helping pull bodies out of the rubble. Jo’s son Guy has been servicing diggers and bulldozers and daughter Kate (would have been at uni) is helping out at the café. So everyone’s doing their bit.
