LIVELY BOOK LAUNCH AT DYMOCKS PONSONBY

Left -  Roy Vaughan, pictured declaiming to his audience

Roy Vaughan lives in Mangawhai.  He is an ex - NZ Herald journo and ships officer and now runs his own travel company.
We heard him talk about how his books and their larger than life characters and action came to be at Dymocks in Ponsonby on Tuesday evening.
The shop was packed and books sold like hotcakes.
His new book 'The Mereleigh Record Club Tour of New Zealand'  is the first of a trilogy about the Mereleigh Record Club and their action packed tours to New Zealand, Japan and the South Pacific Islands.  It is published by an American publisher on a print on demand basis and is therefore available simultaneously in hardback or paperback.
Report by Andrew Rumbles.
