Oscars Crown The King's Speech

It's good to be king: The Academy awarded its top prize to The King's Speech on Sunday, honoring the film with Best Picture and Best Actor for Colin Firth, Best Director for Tom Hooper, and Best Original Screenplay for David Seidler. Natalie Portman walked away with Best Actress for Black Swan, while The Fighter's supporting team of Melissa Leo (who dropped the Oscars' first F-bomb ever during her speech) and Christian Bale nabbed the other acting prizes. Oscar spread the love in other awards: The Social Network won for Aaron Sorkin's adapted screenplay and Trent Reznor's music; Toy Story 3 took Best Animated Film; Alice in Wonderland won for art direction and costume design; 127 Hours took Best Adapted Screenplay and Inception nabbed cinematography, sound editing, and sound mixing.
