KIWI AUTHOR RAYMOND HUBER LAUNCHES WINGS AT DUNEDIN CITY LIBRARY, THURSDAY 7th JULY

Raymond Huber, author of the 2010 NZ Post Awards shortlisted title Sting, will launch the follow-up title Wings, at Dunedin City Library on Thursday 7th July from 5pm.

Told from the point of view of embattled honey bee Ziggy, Wings is a rip-roaring read packed full of adventure, with an important environmental message.

Inspired by the authors own experience
watching some of his bees die from pesticide poisoning, Ziggy’s new mission sees him exploring Tokyo with his family, where they discover something that could destroy all honey bees. After a terrifying encounter with a pack of Giant Hornets, Ziggy goes underground with an acid-bee, and is challenged to a life and death puzzle game.

The event is free, but bookings are essential. Please RSVP to: Raymond@raymondhuber.co.nz
