Writing Workshops at the Centre for Continuing Education - University of Auckland

A Summer Affair | 7 - 11 January 2012

Workshops to explore and develop your creativity

Welcome to the summer event from The University of Auckland’s Centre for Continuing Education. The workshops on offer are a brilliant opportunity to begin 2012 in an invigorating and creative way.
Our writing workshops are as diverse as life writing, poetry, the short story or writing for children. There is something for everyone, whether you’re a beginning writer wanting to record your travels, an experienced wordsmith with a novel on the go or somewhere in between. These courses are designed to give you the confidence, motivation and skills to develop your inner voice, progress your current writing and plan your future work.

The writing workshops are all limited to 15 course participants, allowing for individual attention.
In the language intensive courses you will immerse yourself in the challenge and enjoyment of learning a new language. This can prepare you for overseas travel or study, improve your communication with friends, family and business colleagues or broaden your potential career options.
There is free parking at the Epsom campus, which is conveniently located near to motorway and public transport options and the vibrant Mt Eden Village. When you register for your workshop you can chose a catered or non-catered option.
Workshops in the summer programme are delivered by experienced tutors who are inspirational teachers and passionate about their subject. Continuing Education staff will be on site to welcome you and assist you during the week.
