John Ling graduated from the University of Otago in 2007 with a Communications degree and currently lives and works in Auckland, New Zealand.
He balances his day job as a television captioner with editorial duties at Kia Kaha Press, a publishing imprint.And he has just self-published his first novel, in e-book format, The Blasphemer. It is a riveting thriller set in Auckland but with an international cast. I read it in one sitting on my Kindle, couldn't put it down.

This is an outstanding debut by a young writer and I look forward to more from him.
