Review: Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7

LEGO HARRY POTTER: Spells are cool and funny.

REVIEW: What I absolutely love about Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 is that the missions are just like they are in the movies. So for those who have seen the Harry Potter films, you will be able to play your favourite moments from those movies.

In another Lego-themed game, Lego Star Wars, you used the force to build objects but in Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 you use magic.
One of my favourite features of the Lego games is that they have the funny clips between missions and levels: they're back here in Harry Potter Years 5-7.
Perhaps one of the saddest moments in the game for me was when you are playing as Harry and you are in Bathilda Bagshot's house and you walk through Harry's bedroom when he was a baby.
The spells in the game are cool and funny. My favourite spell is one that you fire at a red brick wall and a pattern appears on the wall. You draw the pattern on the wall using the left thumb stick on the controller and the pattern comes to life. For example, if the pattern is a goldfish it becomes a real goldfish and swims in a nearby tank.

There have been lots of Lego games in the past, such as the Lego Star Wars series, and while I think the best Lego game is the first Star Wars one, the two Lego Harry Potter games come a close second.
For those of you who love Harry Potter as much as I do give Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 a go, you won't regret it.
