They've announced the shortlist for the Jewish Quarterly Wingate Prize -- though not, last I checked, at the official site (or anywhere else, as best I can tell)

- Hope by Shalom Auslander
- On the Eve by Bernard Wasserstein
- The Road to the Apocalypse by Stanley and Munro Price
- Scenes from a Village Life by Amos Oz
- Swimming Home by Deborah Levy
