CK Stead talks to Harriett Gilbert at the BBC about his book My Name Was Judas
Excellent discussion. Go that man! My problem is that there was no questioning of the rather obvious; Has he not placed modern sensibility over period understanding? The language and understanding (of Judas in particular), is like judging the past by today's knowledge. Is it not better to understand history in terms of when it happened? Or is it just me?
