Last week I reckon Wellington-based indie publisher Steele Roberts may have set a new book launch record.
On Wednesday night at
the Jonathan Grant Gallery in Parnell they launched a new and spectacular title by the noted and zany Hawkes Bay artist Piera McArthur, (more about this title to follow), then Disraeli's Daughter at Remuera Library on
Thursday night, and finally John Adams the Elbow Stories at Auckland Central
Library on Friday.
Publisher Roger Steele says that Disraeli's Daughter is
explosive and brilliant, while John Adams won the NZSA Award for best 1st book for poetry last
year and now here are his very special short stories. A review on this title will appear on the blog in due course.

Hi Graeme
I'm looking at your blog for the first time. Interesting idea.
I am wondering if memoirs of my father's WWII experiences would make a good e-book and who might be recommnended in this field in Wellington.
