Jonathan Goodman at
Carlton has bought an illustrated retrospective of Bruce
Springsteen from Colin Webb at Palazzo Editions.
Written by Oregon
based music journalist and critic, Ryan White, Bruce Springsteen:
Album By Album will be the definitive collection and chronology of
each of Springsteen’s seventeen studio albums, from his 1973 debut, Greetings
from Asbury Park, N.J., to 2012’s Wrecking Ball. Fully
illustrated and including many previously unpublished photographs, the book
will provide a fascinating insight into the creative process of an icon and
will be an essential addition to any fan’s collection.
Bruce Springsteen: Album
by Album will
be published in Autumn 2014 to coincide with the 30th anniversary
of ‘The Boss’s’ most successful album to date, 1984’s multi-million
selling Born To Run.
Carlton has UK &
Commonwealth rights.
US rights have been sold
to Sterling, German rights to Edel and Swedish rights to Forma.
The book follows on from
Palazzo’s hugely successful Bowie: Album By Album, also published
in the UK by Carlton.
