Morrissey's Book To Be Published 'Within Weeks' Following Postponement Reports?

Musician Morrissey has reportedly guaranteed to publish his autobiography "within weeks" following reports he cancelled the book's release just days before it was due to hit shops.

The ex Smiths frontman is set to reveal details about the his life growing up in Manchester and his relationship with former song-writing partner Johnny Marr.
However, a statement said there had been a "last minute content disagreement" with its publisher.
But, a new statement has since been published on a fanzine for the star, confirming Morrissey is still on-board with Penguin Books and he hopes to have the book ready for release soon.

The message posted on True-to-you.net, states, "The publication of Morrissey's Autobiography remains with Penguin Books. This is a deal for the UK and Europe, but Morrissey has no contract with a publisher for the U.S. or any other territory.
“As of 13 September, Morrissey and Penguin (UK) remain determined to publish within the next few weeks."
The cancelling of the book launch could have been another setback for the singer. Morrissey previously suffered a series of "medical mishaps" which led him to withdraw from his US tour earlier this year.
The 54-year-old rocker was also forced to cancel part of his South American tour in July due to a "lack of funding".
