‘Hobbit’ Beats ‘Anchorman 2’

The Channel 4 news team can't beat a bunch of Middle-earth creatures. After taking first place at the box office its opening weekend, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug returned to the top spot, beating out Anchorman 2 with $403.8 million worldwide. The Anchorman sequel took in $26.8 million in its debut, $2 million less than the original.
