The Festival programme is jam-packed with exciting music, arts, culture and literature events.

This is truly a Festival for everyone, beginning with acclaimed author Tim Winton; a powerful books and song collaboration with Witi Ihimaera, Paula Morris and Ngāti Rānana; a one-off show by BAFTA award winning Emily Barker about her literary influences; launch of the NZ-edition of GrifithREVIEWBen Whishaw in the flesh (front row please); a great show for the family with A Roo in my Suitcase; the premiere screening of film Virtuosi, celebrating NZ dance on a global stage; historic writing with Anna Funder and ML Stedman .... to name but a few. The Song of Solomon : Mark Bradshaw and Ben  Whishaw

In an exclusive event that will close the 2014 Aus & NZ Festival, Bradshaw and a small ensemble of musicians will be performing a composition inspired by the biblical poem The Song of Solomon, read by the acclaimed BAFTA award-winning actor Ben Whishaw
