Please join us to celebrate A History of Crime, which mingles timeless themes of misunderstanding and betrayal, interweaving real and fictional crimes in 19th century New Zealand.
This fascinating novel explores the seamy side of Victorian society, with echoes that resonate to the present day. And it features wine and opera - as will the launch, with opera singer Mary Newman-Pound performing!

am homes.jpgThe Auckland Writers Festival was amazing!
There was a record-breaking attendance of 50,000 - the equivalent of an All Black test!!! We are still on a high.
may-we-be.jpgA M Homes in our bookshop
A M Homes popped into the shop during her few days in Auckland and she was charming - you'd never know she writes such black humour.
Her session at the festival was wonderful - we have plenty of stock of May We Be Forgiven in the shop, as well as her other titles, AND they are signed!

Happy reading!
Carole, Tanya, Mary-Liz & Patricia!
