As Long As It's Fun

Lin and Larry Pardey are well known in boating and cruising circles, both here and overseas.  They have many journeys, and books alongside their names,  not to mention the DVDs and magazine articles (including The Wall Street Journal !), but this time they themselves are the subject of the book.

Herb McCormick, friend, journalist and editor, has gathered together the stories that Lin and Larry didn’t quite get around to making common knowledge.  This, really, is the biography of a couple who live life to the full, have adventures that only we can dream of, who educate, share, and inspire the rest of the sailing world, both actual and armchair, into their world. 

This is an ocean of stories, with the ebb and flow of thrills, danger, excitement and laughter, told  by an informed guide in a poets voice.

 Lin and Larry Pardey lived their lives with two  guiding principles:-  to ”go small, go simple, go now” and to “keep going, as long as it’s fun” And so they did.
