We honour a much-missed
local children’s writer by welcoming Elizabeth Knox as presenter of
the inaugural Margaret Mahy Lecture, entitled ‘An Unreal House Filled
with Real Storms’.

SUPERNATURALLY
This session brings
together two huge imaginations: Laini Taylor, American author of the
smash-hit Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy and Elizabeth Knox is
one of New Zealand’s most inventive and exciting writers. They talk
fantasy, world-building and writing for young adults with Helen Lowe.
