CHAIR SARAH SANDLEY STEPS DOWN

After six years, founding trustee and Festival Chair Sarah Sandley, has resigned from the board of the Auckland Writers Festival. Sarah has been a dedicated and skilful Chair, guiding the organisation through an exceptional period of increased profile, audience and financial stability and we wish her very well as she moves on to other commitments. Phillipa Muir will assume the leadership role, with Nicola Legat replacing her as Deputy Chair position. We are also delighted to welcome Platinum Patron Josephine Green to the board.
