Many New Zealand writers, including Frank Sargeson, Bruce Mason and the Takapuna Lake poet Susie Mactier lived and worked in around Takapuna. Our guided walk will begin at Hauraki Corner, visit the top end of Takapuna Beach, and finish at Sargeson House in Esmonde Rd.
After the end of the walk, you are invited to stay on at Frank Sargeson's House to hear Grimshaw Sargeson fellow Alice Miller talk about what ongoing literary support means for writers and read some of her work. For those who wish to visit without going on the walk, the Frank Sargeson House will remain open until 1pm.

The Auckland Libraries’ website listing for these events will be available shortly, as will flyers and posters.
