News travels is the
fascinating account of Bob McNeil's career as a journalist for television and
radio, which has taken him all over New Zealand and the world.
From his
childhood in Taranaki to his first overseas trip, being shot at in Fiji and
interviewing Sir Edmund Hillary in Nepal, Bob McNeil's book chronicles the
importance of stories and is an ode to the characters who bring them to
life.
Join us
for light refreshments from 6pm before Bob's talk begins at 6.30pm.
